God not only delivers the Israelites from slavery, he goes before them with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. It was his very presence that led them out of Egypt. Not only did he lead them out, he fought for them along the way and parted the sea before them in the face of their enemies. He is such a good God!
