Matthew 17:1-8; Mark 9:2-8; Luke 9:28-36
The second time in Jesus’ life when the Father speaks over Him. Jesus was approaching the time when His death and resurrection would be near. The transfiguration was a unique moment in Jesus time on earth that gives us a glimpse into the beauty and glory of Heaven. Jesus would have been encouraged and the disciples would have remembered this moment as truth that Jesus really was the Son of God.
