Luke 4 and Isaiah 61.
Jesus went to His hometown of Nazareth to reveal to them that He was the promised Messiah that Isaiah had prophesied about in Isaiah 61. They could not believe it. They would not believe it, and because of their lack of faith, Jesus left Nazareth. What is our response to Jesus today? They could see Jesus. They had Him there with them, physically in their midst, and yet they still chose not to believe it. It’s a choice. While it’s still called today, don’t wait. Believe Him by faith and you will be saved!
