God spoke to His prophets long before Jesus appeared on earth. God had a plan from before the world began. Jesus was and is the Lamb who was slain at the foundation of the world. God gave glimpses of His plan to His people hundreds of years before Jesus came. There was no possible reason for why anyone should have missed Him as the True Messiah.
